What's new on the farm?

Happy early Spring!  The flowers have bloomed early in the yard, and the alpacas are pronking in the field.

Shearing day is set for April 22: for anyone that wants to help us out, please call or email.

The show season has kicked off and Blackjack and Paddington placed at the North American Alpaca Show this weekend in Springfield, MA, one of the largest shows in the country.

For those of you that missed the March 25th CBS Sunday Morning show, you can click "Alpacas for Fun and Profit" to see the segment.  After a few moments to load, the piece will air right after the ad.

And, remember that Section 179 business expenses are scheduled to phase out at the end of 2012.  Click on Investing 101 for more information and to learn why this year may be a great time to purchase an alpaca.
